Complete guide to our Realism Mod gameplay mechanics and rules
Setup & Team Selection
- After realism init, everyone goes to the wall/hedge/fence and listens to the server admin
- Admin asks for two volunteers to be team leaders
- Leaders choose their teams by electing players one by one
- Leaders choose weapons and may impose restrictions!
Weapon Distribution
- Stay still by the wall/hedge
- Listen to your leader's instructions
- Leaders distribute weapons by asking who wants specific weapons
- Wait for weapon assignment
Attacking Rules
- Both teams attack in turns
- You have 10 minutes per round
- Attack the opposing side while they defend
- Take your time - it's key to winning
- After two rounds on one side teams switch (US ↔ Wehrmacht)
Defending Rules
- Take realistic defensive positions
- Follow leader's position assignments
IMPORTANT DEFENDING RULES:
- Cannot cross the middle-line of map
- Invisible walls prevent crossing
- Must defend your designated area
Winning Conditions
- First team that won 3 rounds wins the match
- If both teams are tied, a special AvA Round (Attacker vs Attacker) will happen and both teams attack at the same time
- The winning leader chooses the next map
Medical System
- Everyone gets 1 medic pack per round
- Can give to others but lose your own (H Key)
- Self-heal only under 10HP (red bar)
- Will bleed when hit and walk slowly if low HP
MEDIC CLASS:
- Choose Assault, press '2' in menu
- Get medic skin + 20 medic packs
- Heal teammates under 83HP
- Receive 3 smoke grenades
Equipment & Objects
- Drop/pick weapons with 'E' key
- All classes can pick up any weapon
Object Movement:
- Press 'E' to move objects
- Block house entrances for defense
- Perfect for defensive strategies
Tips & General Info
- Listen carefully to your leader
- Communication is key to success
- Take your time when attacking
- Use cover and realistic tactics
- The easiest way to learn the realism mod is to play it again and again!
